Johnnie Bassett began his career as a member of Joe Weaver & The Blue Notes. Over the years, Johnnie has performed with Johnnie "Guitar" Watson, Tina Turner, Chicago Pete, Clarence Price and Ben Baber. Johnnie's current band, Johnnie Bassett & The Blues Insurgents, has recorded four albums and toured throughout Europe and North America.
